Description
These are the '4.0' '4.1' and '4.2' model handguards, in order. The pieces at the top include an early-pattern RIS gas block, and the various evolutions of handguard, the 4.0, 4.1 and 4.2 being among them.
I feel that the 4.2 (bottom) looks best for covering the gas block, while 4.1 and 4.2 are more geometrically correct, and their reduced hole size just looked better.
To make the design (and size) of the 4.1 and 4.2 work, I had to lengthen the front of the receiver by 3mm.
The flash hider is known as a 'Noveske' flash hider, and was recommended to me on account of this being an SBR. Looks to be pretty similar to the 'Krinkov' style on the AKS-U series.
Thoughts? Adjusted pistol grip, completed magazines, and bolt handle to come later, then variants.
